Reviewed 14 May 2016 We were a group of 8 friends from 4 countries who spent 2 nights at Gubas de Hoek during a week long holiday in the Cape region.. I would highly recommend this Guesthouse. The rooms were very comfortable and very nicely furnished but it was the attention to detail that impressed us. When we arrived we were offered free welcome drinks. There is a beautiful garden with a covered patio area which was lit up at night and built in braai with a guest kitchen with fridge/freezer. They provided blankets to take the chill off. It was lovely. We had steaks on the barbecue and a great evening. They also provided all cutlery and glasses Tec. Would definitely come back. Thank you to Balbina for being such a good host and hotelier. Not forgetting the great breakfast - full houseGreat Experience” (Tripadvisor)
