De Hoek was formerly a doctor’s residence from an era when the doctor was one of the community’s pillars and lived in a style befitting his position. In 2005 Gunther and Balbina Huerttlen have added their warm Bavarian hospitality to the leafy, oak-lined streets of Robertson and changed it into GUBAS DE HOEK, the place, where you meet, eat, and sleep in the valley of wine and roses.
